How to choose effective keywords for Traffic?The goal of choosing profitable keywords is to bring targeted traffic to your Web site, yet not being so competitive but are still often searched for.

Keyword research is one of the most important parts of your SEO campaign. Owning high paying keywords on Google is like owning a Real Estate. The higher traffic you generate, the more conversion rate you will have if you position yourself on the front pages of Google.

Think about all the possible words and phrases that are related to your business and can be used by people when they search for your Web site. Make a list of top keywords. When choosing keywords, avoid using single words, as most people search using multiple-word keywords composed of two, or even three words in order to get the desired output.

If you need to think from your customers point of view you need to get into their shoes. Get to know who they are? What are they trying to search? What other stuff do they look for? Determine what your website has in store for them when they do a search. Be a solution to their problem.

The KEI compares the Count result (number of times a keyword has appeared in our data) with the number of competing web pages to pinpoint exactly which keywords are most effective for your campaign. The higher the KEI, the more popular your keywords are, and the less competition they have. Which means you have a better chance of getting to the top.

· The first step in any search engine optimization campaign is to choose the right keywords for which you should optimize your site.
· To get a high ranking for your target keywords, you need to put the keywords in the actual body content of your site.
· You DO need to repeat the keywords a number of times. But, the way you place the keywords in your pages needs to make grammatical sense. Repeating the keyword without making sense to the content does not work.
· Instead of creating different pages for different search engines, create one page which is optimized for one keyword for all the search engines.
· The search engines only understand text – they don’t understand graphics. Hence use keyword rich text only for high rankings in the the search engines.
· Apart from trying to improve your site’s position in the search engines,you also need to spend time on improving the quality of the products and services that you are selling which is very necessary to increase the sales of your products and services.

What is long tail keyword? For example, “make money online” is a short term keyword. If you enter this keyword phrase on Google, it shows you there are 1.5 million competitor websites that are competing with this keyword phrase. This is something you don’t want to go after. In order to minimize the competition, you need to add more words to the pre-existing keyword, such as “make money online at home with affiliate program without spending a dime”. They are down to 71,700 on the search result. As the result of that, this tail keyword made the search engine less competitive and it’s a great keyword to go after.Tip: create your own spreadsheet and insert all the potential keywords within your niche which may be derived from Google Ad words Keyword Tool. This helps you find right keywords for future use very quickly and easily. In order to minimize the competition, try to stay within 2,000 or less on the search volume for each keyword to get the best result. As long as you can take time to research and analyze profitable keywords on Google for free, this will be very valuable for your time and investment.
